As the first step towards the future, after several brands introduced their latest electric cars, and driven by the performance of electric car sales this year, Honda Malaysia today opened pre-orders for the Honda e:N1 electric car
The Honda e:N1 is an electric car developed from the e:N Architecture F platform and looks almost like an H-RV with the same design that can be seen from the rear door handles, all the way to the interior. It has an electric motor that can provide a maximum power of 150kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm, allowing acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds with a maximum speed of 160 km/h.
In terms of charging, the Honda e:N1 sold in Indonesia has a travel range of up to 500km NEDC from a 68.8 kWh battery. However, it only supports 78 kW DC charging, making the charging time 10%-80% in 45 minutes. However, it is different for AC, where 11kW charging requires around 6 hours for a full charge.
Honda Malaysia has also appointed 8 selected dealers who will handle any inquiries about this first electric car and for those of you who are interested, you can visit the special pre-order page provided. The Honda e:N1 will be launched in the second quarter of this year so it is possible that we will be able to see its launch at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025 next May, or maybe in June 2025.
