Late last year, the Oppo Find X8 series was launched with the Dimensity 9400 chip. Some complained that they wanted an Oppo flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite. If that's what you want, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is your next Android flagship phone as it was launched yesterday in China.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra comes with a 6.82″ LTPO OLED 120Hz screen and Dolby Vision support. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage and a 6100 mAh SiC battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC charging and 50W AirVOOC. The body of the device also passes the IP68 waterproof and dustproof standards and IP69 splashproof.
Although the X8 Ultra is more, it is equipped with a larger battery than the X8 Pro with 5910 mAh. The main camera now consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 3x 50MP telephoto lens with OIS and a 6x 50MP telephoto lens also with OIS.
The front camera is 32MP. Overall, the two telephoto lenses have been updated with better sensors but the ultra-wide-angle lens has a smaller sensor than the X8 Pro. The Hasselblad camera system is still maintained.
Other improvements introduced are two dedicated buttons for camera control and a quick shortcut button. Customization of the quick shortcut button can be done to launch various applications that the owner wants. The operating system used is ColorOS 15 which is based on Android 15.
In China, the selling price of the device is as follows.
