The Oppo Watch X2 Mini was announced as one of the new products at a launch event in China yesterday. It comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, and 1,000 nits of brightness. In addition, it is also powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 4GB for RTOS.
Other features include an eSIM for the ability to make calls and reply to WeChat directly from this watch. In addition, it has built-in GPS, NFC for payment purposes, as well as a battery that can last up to a week with light use. It also comes with various health functions such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen, sleep cycle, and women's health.
Interestingly, it offers support for blood sugar monitoring when connected to a compatible Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) device. It also features the industry's first Travel Guardian system for real-time location sharing, automatic health alerts, and easy emergency calling for critical situations.
Five satellite systems are supported for navigation, and the watch is 5ATM and IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is available in black and silver for RMB 1,799 (~RM1,090) while the premium gold version will cost RMB 2,099 (~RM1,272).
