Razer Suspends Laptop Sales in the US

Trump's outrageous tariffs last week have now cost Razer its business, with the Singaporean computer company suspending all sales and pre-orders for its laptops in the US. The configuration page for new laptops like the Blade 16 is now inaccessible. Instead, the site only shows a button to send notifications to customers who want to buy it.

At this time, Razer's US site only sells accessories and skins for various devices. The new laptop stand accessory that was launched yesterday also did not say when it will be sold in the US. Sales are only suspended in the US at this time, with other markets not affected.

The suspension of sales is closely related to the 104% tariff on China announced by Trump late last night and the 32% tariff on Taiwan. Razer manufactures its products in both countries, although they are based in Singapore.
