If you are an owner of an older Samsung smartphone, the South Korean tech giant has recently announced that it will be ending software and security update support for a number of its older smartphones.
These devices include the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, Samsung Galaxy A72, and Samsung Galaxy A32. For the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, this includes all Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra models.
On Samsung’s website, the Samsung Galaxy S20 and above models are no longer listed, and only the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and above models are visible.
This means that these models will not receive Android software updates, new features from Samsung, and security updates, except for mandatory security updates to ensure that their devices do not fall victim to mass hacking.
Users can still use their devices without any problems, but if you still want to receive more extensive software, operating system and security updates, it is advised that you upgrade your device to a newer version of Samsung Galaxy.
