Siri with Apple Intelligence to Only Launch Around September

Siri with Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence (AI) was supposed to launch alongside iOS 18.4 after it was shown off about a year ago. But various issues with the quality of the information provided, the ability to make inferences and the development delays caused Apple to postpone its launch date.

The New York Times reported today that this highly anticipated feature may only launch in the fall, around September next year. This is in line with the predictions of several analysts who said that Siri with Apple Intelligence would launch simultaneously with iOS 19.

Apple's failure to offer the advertised feature for the iPhone 16 series has led to them facing several class action lawsuits in the United States. Buyers of the iPhone 16 series claim that the published advertisement of Apple Intelligence was inaccurate and that they felt deceived.

Apple is the only manufacturer that still does not offer AI features widely. On the Android platform, all manufacturers have their own AI features that allow for more comprehensive searches, fast photo editing, real-time phone call translation and document summarization assistance.

Despite several polls conducted among Apple owners, they do not feel it is a necessary feature because they see AI as a technology that is not yet useful.
