Tesla has been teasing the ability of their vehicles to come with the Full Self Driving (FSD) feature for years, and technically, this feature has already been introduced in some of their vehicles in certain locations in the United States.
Recently, Tesla's tweet on the social media platform X has said that in the future, these electric vehicles will be driven independently from the Tesla factory directly to the owner's home who bought them. This is an example of Tesla showing the capabilities of their FSD technology for US customers.
Elon Musk also seems to have confirmed that Tesla vehicles will start driving themselves to customer homes starting this year, and this is also seen as an acknowledgement that the FSD technology will begin to be activated more widely starting this year.
If the FSD technology is really going to be used more widely this year, it means that their other plans such as Robotaxi are also likely to become a reality soon.
Robotaxi by Tesla is expected to be introduced in several locations in US cities within the next few months, particularly in California and Texas where it is already being tested, and has received permission from the state governments.
