The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was unexpectedly launched late last night after several screenshots were leaked a few days ago. This remastered version was developed by Virtuos Studio with the entire game now using Unreal Engine 5 to provide graphics comparable to current generation games.
In addition to better graphics, the interface and gameplay have also been reworked by integrating elements from Skyrim. In other words, it is not just an old game relaunched with texture changes but is developed entirely for those who never enjoyed this game when it was launched in 2006.
Through this remastered version, two DLCs Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine are also included to provide a complete narrative of the game that is the basis of Skyrim. This is the perfect time to return to Cyrodil and meet Uriel Septim.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available for download today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Steam, and PC, and is included with Game Pass in both Standard and Deluxe versions. It is currently available digitally only and there is no announcement for Switch 2.
