TikTok today shared that they now have over 1.7 million sellers through their platform, thus positioning TikTok Shop as one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Malaysia. Through it, sellers are also actively making various direct sales to attract buyers.
Not only that, more than 3.0 million users are also registered as affiliate representatives, or also called “Affiliates”. Usually, affiliate representatives will generate income by promoting a product and receive commissions when the product is sold through them.
TikTok itself facilitates the process, including revenue distribution and so on using their platform – making buying and selling transactions, and managing affiliate representatives easier to do.
In line with this development, TikTok also provides a number of guides and classes in encouraging more SMEs to use the TikTok Shop platform for buying and selling transactions. There are several double dates that TikTok is also focusing on in further encouraging buying and selling activities on their platform, in addition to the festive season.
