Vivo X200 Ultra Launched With Snapdragon 8 Elite And 200MP Telephoto Camera



Vivo has launched the X200 Ultra in China as its new flagship smartphone. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with memory options of up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device also features a 6.78-inch curved LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.


There is a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, both of which use a 1/1.28” Sony LYT-818 sensor. In addition, there is a 200MP Samsung HP9 telephoto camera, which uses prism technology to capture more light to produce more detailed images. This sensor also supports in-sensor zoom up to 12X with preserved image quality.


There is also a special physical button for the camera. The function of this button is similar to the Camera Control on some new iPhone devices that can be used specifically to activate the camera. For example, controlling zoom, focus, or other settings for better image production. This button is also decorated in blue and placed slightly lower, and can be controlled by dragging.


Vivo X200 Ultra is equipped with a 2.35x telephoto teleconverter in collaboration with ZEISS. It offers a 200mm focal length, a large F/2.3 aperture, and a Kepler structure with 13 high-quality lenses for clearer images. In addition, there is also a special photography kit that provides a handle with a shutter button, an additional 2,300mAh battery, etc. This kit is designed to facilitate professional photography using a smartphone.


The battery is 6000mAh with support for 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Other specifications include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, a USB-C port, and IP68/69 waterproofing.
