Yahoo Is Developing Its Own Web Browser – Open to Buying Chrome

Yahoo was a very proud brand during the early internet era, offering services such as email, Yahoo Messenger, access to news, and also being a one-stop shop for various searches. However, the presence of other services has had an impact, and the brand is increasingly forgotten.

Under the new owner, Yahoo is seen to be developing and wanting to return to their glory days. In addition to focusing on content, Yahoo is also now reportedly developing their own web browser.

This move is said to be part of a move to regain control of their search engine and support.

In addition to their web browser that is under development, in parallel with the trial involving Google, Yahoo also stated that they are open to buying Chrome if it has to be sold or separated from Google. Google is considered to have a monopoly on the market, and authorities in the United States are looking at whether Google should be broken up or otherwise.

Today, Google Chrome is one of the most widely used web browsers in the world, and its open source engine Chromium also powers a large number of other web browsers on the market, including Microsoft Edge and Opera.
